It is fully equipped with Advanced Life Support equipment, and is staffed with at least one Captain, an Engineer and at least one Paramedic at all times.
2237 is a 2009 International 4300DT with a Fontaine extended cab chassis. 2237 has a custom MEDTEC Ambulance conversion patient care area, which is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment and a complete prehospital pharmacy. This equips our paramedic crews with the capability to provide first class pre-hospital emergency care. Every Monarch Fire Protection District ambulance is defined as LRSV (Life Support Rescue Vehicle). The nomenclature indicates that our on-duty staff is trained and equipped to provide lifesaving patient care and lifesaving rescues making Monarch FPD a full emergency service Fire District.
