DISCIPLINED SPENDING HABITS, GREAT RETURNS

Chesterfield, MO-The practice of planning and disciplined spending is resulting in great returns to the residents and businesses of the Monarch Fire Protection District (MFPD). Capital projects, staffing, upgrading trucks and ambulances, along with property and equipment maintenance are receiving the proper attention in order to assist in medium range planning.

These strides forward have been managed without a tax increase or any bond debt to the District. The tax rate for residents will enjoy a slight reduction in 2016 while commercial and agricultural rates will remain the same. Director Harris noted, “Our senior staff, working with Monarch employees at every level, has done an outstanding job working to control costs while enhancing safety and security”.

Directors Harris, Cunningham, and Gans are very pleased to inform the residents and businesses of the Monarch, their tax rates will not be increased in 2016.
